Everyfolio helps you track your investments and understand what you are looking at. It is not an investment advisory service, and the app makes no recommendations: it never tells you what to buy, what to sell, or when. Everyfolio is not a broker and executes no trades — your orders go through your financial institution, never here.

Prices, history, volumes and news come from external providers. They may be delayed, incomplete, temporarily unavailable or inaccurate. The app shows the last-updated time wherever it knows it, precisely so you can judge for yourself. This data should not be the basis of a decision: for a number that commits you, your institution’s statement remains the reference.

The “Learn” section explains mechanisms — what a dividend is, how a contribution limit works, what an indicator measures. It does not replace a professional: an advisor, an accountant or a tax specialist knows your situation; we do not.

You remain solely responsible for your investment decisions and their consequences. Everyfolio provides information and calculations based on what you enter; it substitutes for no judgment, and an entry mistake or an inaccurate provider figure flows straight through to what the app displays.

The tax explanations in the app and in the library describe general rules. They do not account for your personal situation, and no tax is calculated for you. For this year’s figures and for your own case, the reference remains the Canada Revenue Agency, Revenu Québec, and a professional.
